Salon Manager + Senior Stylist
With over a decade of experience in the art of hairdressing, Cassie’s journey began in Gore, where she completed her apprenticeship while studying at the Southern Institute of Technology (SIT). Her career then took her to Queenstown, where she spent four years honing her skills and working with a diverse range of clients. It was here that Cassie grew both as a stylist and an artist, learning new techniques that shaped her into the expert she is today.
However, it was the stunning landscapes of Wanaka that truly captured Cassie’s heart. She has spent the past few years helping clients achieve their hair dreams in this beautiful town, continuing to grow and refine her craft.
Cassie’s expertise spans every aspect of hairstyling, from precise cutting to incredible colour work. She is renowned for her "lived-in looks" and breathtaking balayage that enhance her clients' natural beauty and make them feel confident and at ease in their own skin. Dorie believes that the key to maintaining a stylish look between salon visits is a regular trim—keeping hair fresh and healthy, so you’re never faced with the dreaded recommendation to cut off more length than desired. Senior Stylist
With 6 years in the hair industry, Kayla brings a calm, friendly energy to the salon and a passion for creating beautiful, confidence-boosting hair. From a young age, she knew she wanted to be a hairdresser—drawn to all things hair and beauty and determined to build a career she truly loved.
Kayla trained through an in-salon apprenticeship, completing block courses at Harrington and Vaughan in Dunedin, and has continued to refine her skills through various education programs. She enjoys all aspects of hairdressing, but blonde work is her specialty. Her ideal day in the salon includes a variety of appointments where she can put all her skills to use.
Known for her classic style and perfectionist touch, Kayla’s approach is all about listening closely, delivering on her clients’ hair goals, and making sure every person leaves the chair feeling amazing. She's especially excited to take on more balayage transformations and be part of the vibrant, modern vibe at Iconic Hair Wanaka.
Outside of work, Kayla loves spending time with family at the lake or out on the boat, and catching up with friends over a good shopping day or lunch date.

Senior Stylist
With 16 years of experience in the hair industry, Bianca’s passion for hair started young—think six years old with a tuition head and a pretend salon setup. She trained in the UK, earning her NVQ Level 3 in Hairdressing and later her Level 4 in Teaching and Assessing, which led her to help train apprentices and take on an Assistant Manager role at her previous salon.
Bianca is a colour specialist with a particular love for blondes and lived-in, healthy colour transformations. She’s also diving into the copper trend and loving the versatility it brings to her clients’ looks.
Her styling philosophy is all about listening, building trust, and creating a personalised experience that leaves every client feeling confident and cared for.Fun, methodical (hello, Virgo energy!), and a total team player, Bianca brings great vibes and serious skills to the Iconic Hair Wanaka team. When she’s not in the salon, you’ll find her hiking, horse riding, cooking up a storm, or recharging in her camper.

With 17 years of experience, Kate brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to Iconic Hair. Growing up as the daughter of a hairdresser, she’s always had a natural connection to the craft. After completing her training in Australia, Kate specialized in colour correction, blondes, and razor cutting while working with L’Oreal. Her diverse career has taken her through salons in Australia, Canada, and New Zealand, enhancing her skills and communication with every step.
Kate specializes in creative colour, blondes, and razor cutting, and loves creating soft, lived-in styles that clients can easily manage at home. Whether it's cutting shags, bangs, or bobs, she’s always open to new styles that suit her clients.
A yoga teacher and advocate for natural, eco-friendly products, Kate’s dual passions—hairdressing and yoga—are both focused on helping people feel good inside and out. When not styling, Kate enjoys hiking, yoga, reading, and spending time in nature.
